Locator, Cab Display, Transmitter — Ready to Bore
This is a complete deployment-ready HDD locating package. Above-ground crew uses the F5+ locator to track the drill head; the drill operator watches the FCD cab display for real-time depth, pitch, roll, temperature, and battery status; the FT2 V2 transmitter rides inside the drill head and broadcasts location data. Battery, charger, and hard transport case all included. Everything you need to run utility installation jobs on day one.
Four Frequencies to Cut Through Interference
The Falcon platform is built specifically for active interference avoidance — this system transmits and receives across four separate frequencies: 464.50, 464.55, 469.50, and 469.55 MHz. When you hit noisy ground — traffic control loops, buried steel, urban RF, high-voltage lines — you switch to a cleaner frequency and keep boring. Traditional single-frequency locators just lose the drill head; the Falcon platform keeps you on the bore path.
This is why the Falcon lineup replaced older DigiTrak single-frequency systems on urban and infrastructure-heavy jobs — interference resistance directly reduces lost time and rework.
What Each Piece Does
Falcon F5+ Locator
Handheld above-ground locator. The crew member walking the bore path uses this to track the transmitter, mark bore location, monitor depth, and communicate with the drill operator.
FCD Cab Display
Compact remote display mounted in the drill rig cab. Gives the drill operator live transmitter data (pitch, roll, depth, temperature, battery, signal strength) without needing crew radio callouts.
FT2 V2 Transmitter (Sonde)
Rides inside the drill head housing. Broadcasts position, depth, pitch, roll, and temperature data on selectable frequencies for interference-free tracking.
