The integrated 450 MHz UHF radio is receive-only — the R580 can receive corrections from a base station broadcasting on 450 MHz. It cannot transmit. For RTX or VRS workflows, no radio is needed at all.
Each R580 in our fleet is powered on, tested for GNSS tracking, RTX convergence, radio function, and battery health before it leaves our shop. You get field-ready equipment, not a gamble.
